Our fall election has been scheduled for the week of November 25 to December 1. The election will be administered online, so expect more details to be forthcoming.
Our current Board has done a stellar job of establishing our group’s foundation, and they all deserve our thanks. Nevertheless, LDS Earth Stewardship’s future will be crafted by the next Board. That’s why it is so important that we go into 2013 with a full complement of dedicated and engaged Board members. If you or someone you know is a promising candidate, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
I could go on and on about the ideal qualifications of a Board member, but there are two essential characteristics:
1) A Board member must be passionate about earth stewardship, and
2) A Board member must be committed to building the LDS Earth Stewardship organization.
Other skills (e.g., administrative, financial, scientific, marketing) are also valuable.
As a reminder, voting privileges are limited to LDS Earth Stewardship members, so join now if you haven’t already done so. Membership is free, and you can sign up here.
