Exploring the gospel principles of earth stewardship

2014 Steward of the Year Nominations

One of the best ways to learn about earth stewardship is getting to know the people who take seriously their responsibility of being stewards of the earth. We know that there are many of you who are doing wonderful and exemplary things in your homes, neighborhoods, and communities . . . so tell us who you are and what you are doing, or tell us about someone else you know!

At our annual fall meeting this year, we would like to recognize an “LDS Earth Steward of the Year.” So nominate that person in your ward who is doing something fantastic so we will all be inspired to do better. You may even nominate yourself. Just tell us who to consider and why they are exemplary earth stewards.

You may submit your nominations in the comment section below, on the Facebook or Google group post that links to this story, by emailing the LDS Earth Stewardship secretary, Rachel Whipple, at denebug@gmail.com, or by emailing me at justjoshn15@gmail.com. We will accept nominations no later than October 25th, so you have 9 days to mull it over.
