Exploring the gospel principles of earth stewardship

Utah Lake Service Project

Stewardship isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we do. LDS Earth Stewardship has committed to regularly cleaning the popular Sandy Beach area of Utah Lake in Spanish Fork for the rest of 2016. Watch this video for details.

We have committed to three days of cleanup.

  • Saturday, April 23rd 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Saturday, August 13th 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Saturday, October 8th 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Sandy BeachThe beach was named well, with lots of area to enjoy views of Utah Lake and the surrounding mountains. Our service will be to explore the beach and to clean up any paper, plastic, and human-caused litter that we find. LDS Earth Stewardship will provide a supply of trash bags and vinyl gloves. Snacks will also be provided, as well as water to refill bottles that you bring. (Note that Volunteers are required to be at least 10-years-old.)

Many hands make light work. Please RSVP to:
