Christopher Oscarson

Treasurer

Christopher ("Chip") Oscarson grew up in the American Midwest and East Coast with a three-year stint in Sweden for good measure. One of his favored memories from his time in Sweden is “Mulleskolan,” a weekly outdoor education program for children where Skogsmulle, a local wood troll, would teach about the local flora and fauna and how to be a responsible steward in nature. The lessons of the forest have stuck with him, and he has been an active participant in local politics and environmental groups in Utah county where he has now lived, hiked, and cross country skied for twelve years with his wife, Marie-Laure, and their four children. Professionally, he teaches literature and film at Brigham Young University.
